Your day with us will commence in the CBD where you will be picked up in a Helicopter and flown over the spectaular sites of Melbourne including Crown Casino, MCG, Fereration square, Yarra River and The Eureka tower. You will then be flown North East of Melbourne to Victorias Wine Region, the Yarra Valley.

Once you have landed at the airfield you will begin your briefing with your Tandem skydive instructor. This includes what to expect and what you will see on the plane flight to height, in freefall, under canopy and upon landing. The briefing takes approximately 15 minutes.Our tandem jump masters have completed 1000's jumps and are members of the Australian Parachute Federation. Once the briefing is over, it will be time to gear up in preparation for your sky diving experience. You will be given a jumpsuit and your instructor will fit you into a harness. You will walk out to the plane and there you will conduct your practice exits. Once all the ground preparation has been completed, it is time to get in the plane and get ready for take-off! You can expect to jump from a height of 10,000ft.

As we leave the airfield, you will be treated to a scenic tour of the Yarra Valley and the Dandenong ranges as well as the city of Melbourne and Port Phillip Bay.

Once we reach height, it will be time to prepare you for the jump. The door opens and as you leave the plane, you and your tandem master will accelerate through the air reaching terminal velocity - 220km/h. Freefall feels like riding a cushion of air similar to riding a big wave. In freefall, your senses will be able to take in stunning views as far as the eye can see. Then finally it's time to pull your parachute open.

From the loud rushing of air that you hear all around you, the parachute ride is very different as you sail around the sky, gliding.

The landing is easy, just lift your legs. The parachute will glide and you will eventually put your feet down to land.

You will also be treated to a wine tasting experience in a Yarra Valley Winery at the conclusion of your skydiving experience.

And to top it off, you can share your Tandem adventure with your friends and family as you will have it all captured on DVD and Photos. Melbourne Skydive Centre's camera flyers will record your Tandem Skydive. Capturing all the adrenaline & excitement of before the jump, gearing up, practicing an exit from the plane, take off, actual plane exit, your freefall, under canopy and your landing. The DVD will be professionally edited to high energy music - making it a lasting memory on DVD! The Melbourne Skydive centre team will also capture your skydive with 20-30 Photos.
